Adjust the straps leading to the neck element so that the upper edge of the chest padding is at the height of the shins, and the padding lies flat against the chest. In the section between the neck and the rear element, ensure that the ring is not behind the line of the dog's two hind legs. Move the rear element back far enough so that the rear straps of the chest padding do not cover the front legs. The straps should be tight enough to fit a hand under the rear element, but do not allow them to be too loose, as this may cause the harness to shift sideways during work. In a standing position, the harness may seem too loose - the adjustable bridge element, neck element, and rear element may slide slightly - but this will resolve as soon as the dog starts moving and pulls forward. All straps and elements will then be in place.
